I am a photographer based in New York City, USA.

I do mostly travel photography, new places and people and cultures inspire me the most and allow me to freely change subjects and swap styles.  I document my own experiences and I share them with others, hopefully inspiring them to explore new places and cultures on their own.

I also do portraiture, particularly as related to travel.  Informal, street portrait photography adds depth to objects and landscapes and cityscapes by capturing character and essence of the people I meet. Put together, all pictures create a rich visual narrative of the places around our planet.

I have only a handful of cameras in my arsenal, I try to be minimal when it comes to gear, preferring to dive deeper into what I already have vs acquiring and learning the ropes of new equipment.

My few favorites are:

Ricoh GR II.  Used to be one of the best cameras that fit into your shirt pocket (circa 2015-2020).  Competition caught up, but it still is a very capable little gem of a compact camera.

Fuji x-t20 with Voigtlander Nokton 35mm f1.2 lens.  Great body, even better lens.

Minolta film SLR, X-500, with a couple of Rokkor lenses.  Inside it is usually Kodak TMax black and white film.  Sadly, it sees less and less use lately…
